The Edible Community Garden Grant – Spring 2025 – TAKING APPLICATIONS

• Are you involved in a school, faith group, community garden, or non-profit organization helping to grow your community’s sustainability?
• Do you have a sunny patch of land where you can grow and nurture fruit trees, fruiting shrubs and other perennial crops?
• Are you committed to caring for these plants in the years to come?

If so, we invite you to apply for The Edible Community Garden Grant 2025.

Grant Goals

• To increase local food security by growing food everywhere
• To promote and assist in the planting of community food
• To increase the visibility and availability of seasonal fresh food
• To strengthen community collaboration, knowledge and resilience skills
• To ensure that donated plants will be healthy and productive

Grants Available for Spring 2025

Grants have no cash value; we supply plants only. Due to supply issues, we may not be able to supply your exact wish list, so please list substitutions. Number of awards depend upon TreeMobile sales, and quantity and quality of applications received. We are not able to provide training this year, please go to the Orchard People website https://orchardpeople.com for fruit tree care info; some books will be made available.

Edible Forest Grant | Valued at $370

1. Choice of plants from TreeMobile’s 2025 selection (incl. 5 trees) up to $350
2. Delivery and planting assistance if within TreeMobile delivery zone
3. Tree guards and Root Rescue dip $20

Orchard Grant | Valued at $250

1. Choice of plants from TreeMobile’s 2025 selection (incl. 3 trees) up to $235
2. Delivery and planting assistance if within TreeMobile delivery zone
3. Tree guards and Root Rescue dip $15

Garden Grant | Valued at $145

1. Choice of plants from TreeMobile’s 2025 selection (incl. 1 tree) up to $130
2. Delivery and planting assistance if within TreeMobile delivery zone
3. Tree guards and Root Rescue dip $15

Fedge (Food Hedge) Grant | Valued at $125

1. Choice of shrubs, vines and canes from our 2025 selection up to $125
2. Delivery and planting assistance if within TreeMobile delivery zone
